ChronoTrack Timing:
One of the many goals of the ChronoTrack system is to simplify the timing process for athletes. A disposable tag eliminates the need for several organizational choke points that allow the athletes to spend more time focusing on their competition and less time waiting in lines. When you pick up your bib at Luke’s the week of the race – you also get your D-tag which you will attach to your shoe.

The D-tag is easy to attach your shoe and is far lighter and less intrusive than other timing tags and chips. Once the D-tag is attached to your shoe, you will quickly forget that it is even there! Your time starts when your shoe crosses the starting line and stops when you reach the finish line. Instructions for attaching the D-Tag to your shoe are available here.

Competitive Walkers:
Competitive walkers are encouraged to participate in both the 10K and 20K races. The course is estimated to close at approximately 11 am, so walkers should be able to average approximately 17 minutes per mile for the 20K and approximately 33 minutes for the 10K.

Strollers & Dogs:
Strollers are allowed on the course; however, we ask that strollers remain at the back of the starting area. Dogs are not allowed on the course since the race starts and finishes at the Dallas Arboretum.
